Paging Doctor Freud…
Here's my dream last night:
I was in a desert, running through some sort of castle, being chased by a King that was looking for me. I believe the King was chasing me because I was trying to take him down. I’m not sure whether this was so I could take the throne, or just because I felt like he was corrupt and needed to be disposed of. Also, I was somehow related to him. He was a close relative. He could’ve been a new Nuclear family member other than my sister, mother or father. It was as though he was an older brother or father, though not my dad. The castle itself was sandy. There was a parade that I was ducking in and out of. I escaped the castle and ran towards Las Vegas, where I was looking for a Whole Foods, but I was still being chased. This is interesting because when I went to Las Vegas over the summer, I had a great time with my friend, Mr. Andrew Lawlor. There was one point when we were out there, where we were between Gold Coast and Palms, and it was late afternoon, and we were about to cross a street. We started talking about how great Vegas was. Lawlor said he could live there and asked me if I could. I said probably not because it only represents one part of me, I’d want an area where I could find a Whole Foods, etc., and Vegas seemed to me a place that was pretty homogenous in terms of the types of people, while I like those people, I like the company of other people that don’t live in Vegas (at least in the Vegas we saw), and I’m affected by my surroundings. So anyway, back to the dream. I’m looking for Whole Foods, and I find it. Around this time, I’m expecting the king to come by this block, and I see my sister and my father looking for me. I hop on their truck (I dunno why it was a truck). Off to the airport we go. We make it safely to the airport, and now we’re out of harm’s way. While at the airport, waiting for my plane to escape the king, my sister, my father and I decide to play the slots there (for those of you that haven’t been to Vegas, yes, they have slots everywhere, including in the airport, gas stations, and drug stores). So, next thing I know, I hit the jackpot. $14,400. And they’re all Sacagawea gold dollars. I’m initially upset about the Sacagawea gold dollars, but then I try to exchange them. Luckily, I am allowed to exchange them. At this point, I wake up.
Okay, so now I’m asking all the amateur psychologists for their interpretation, either real or humorous, or both. So have fun. I already have my own, and Lawlor doesn’t count, because I told him my interpretation, unless he has one that's different. But I’d love to hear what anyone thinks.
A few things to note:
The dreams that I remember are often about people chasing me. Usually they don’t have endings as awesome as this one.
I signed up on FullTilt poker two days ago, and watched Lawlor play Omaha 8 hi/lo for a couple of hours before I went to bed last night.

You are such a goddamn comment whore.
I don't think that people can analyze other people's dreams. It's something that you're thinking about in the back of your mind that comes out in a super-awesome-fun medium. If it means something to you, then it means something, if it doesn't, then it doesn't. Sometimes dreams are just random shit, but if they're not then they've got to be based on details and events that have made some kind of impact on you and are being regurgitated for a personal reason and no one else is going to have the ability to accurately decipher it.
OK!?!
Boring...
I don't really know a lot about psychology, but I tried to come up with an explanation for everything. I haven't read anyone else's responses yet, because I don't want to get influenced. If you want to talk about it more, let me know, and I'll help you out:
In the beginning, you're in a barren place where you're going nowhere. There is some force keeping you there; something you respect, but don't like. This might be a person, or something else.
You want to make your place better, and feel the best way to do it is getting rid of that force that holds you. You've already made an attempt to remove it, but failed, and now escape is your plan.
To accept my story, there has to be an explanation for why you felt the king was a close relative. I don't think he's meant to be a person, but something that you feel strongly about. Something that has a great influence over you, and you feel it would be better off severed.
You escape your place, no longer caring about removing the king. You're content with getting out of your current spot. Vegas presents a great option. It tugs at you, tries its best to give you every reason to retreat there. With all the temptations of Vegas, you can't get Whole Foods out of your mind. It would be a great place to go, but ultimately decide there must be a better place in life.
I don't think the Whole Foods is meant to symbolize Vegas finally being complete. It's meant to trigger the desire of how you really want things, and it's why you eventually see your dad and sister coming to the rescue.
The airport could mean many things, but I think it's supposed to be some kind of futuristic space station. You know where you need to go, and your family wishes you away. You get in your space fighter, and take off for the Vorgnon system. You know that the Warlord Bulgerious has already taken three systems for the evil Jackpot empire. That's when you wake up.
You know what you need to do. Take $14,400, convert it into Sacagewea dollars, and take it to the Palnorocifer system, and enlist in the galactic military. The fate of Earth (hell, the galaxy) is in your hands.
Now that I've read comments: Ha, Squidtrick! It looks like I DID just analyze his dream, and rather well I might add! Now you'll feel bad when Farrell dies after burning up in the enemy planet's atmosphere, just because you wouldn't analyze his dream.

by a long shot.
thanks matt.
I "lolled"
Fine, Matt. I concede that you did analyze that very well. You win... this time... but nothing says Farrell will defeat the Might Lord Bulgerius.
The Vorgnon System Will Prevail!!
